Vintage 1930s Romantic Grey Velvet Dress

A vintage 1930/40s velvet dress from heaven! This is a super special and rare find with amazing details (but fits very small). Gorgeous ruched sleeves, gathered bust, puff shoulders and a flowing skirt perfect for dancing. The velvet fabric is extremely soft and has a beautiful lustre to it. In the light there is also a gold/brown hue, I’m not sure if it is from age or a natural tint to the fabric which has several shades of grey, blue, silver depending on the light. Closure is a 13” covered Lightning zipper on the left side. Two areas have been mended and there are a few pin holes throughout but condition is impressive considering the age of this garment.
